BEYOND THESE BOUNDS - sin

Sin can rule over people and have power it does not deserve. It can lead people into dark places they never wished to be in. It can convince people that there is no light and there is no love. Sin can wrap itself around a person’s heart so tight that it steals every ounce of joy they could have in them. Sin can take you so far that it will convince you and the people around you that it is impossible for you to come back. This is what sin did to my brother. Sin, however, is subject to the power of God and His ability to rip the impossible to shreds! When it seemed most impossible for my brother to come to God after years of sin, he came running to the altar of the Lord. He jumped into the river of life. He took a big gulp of the Holy Spirit. He surrounded himself with the goodness of God, and threw his heart back to the One who made sin look like a punk under His power. He has been washed in the blood and stands sinless and spotless before our God. Favor has attacked him, pinned him down, and left him speechless. His past is gone. His present is secure! His future is way BEYOND THESE BOUNDS! This is impossible! Naw, not really…at all.

Never give up. Never lose hope. God is faithful. My brother is now enrolled in Bible school and about to tear this world up for Jesus Christ. I LOVE MY BRO!

Matthew 19:26 (NKJV) But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

BEYOND THESE BOUNDS - cancer

As my friend lay in that hospital bed colorless and cold with approaching death, my head asked my heart, ‘Is it possible that he can live?’ My heart delayed the answer as it studied the truth of stage four lung cancer. I shook my head as reality set in. Death was coming. Quickly. But as my doubt overwhelmed me, like a shockwave that brings a dead heart back to life, God’s heart began to beat within mine. My heart and my mind were made up. We would see a miracle in his life. I walked to his bedside and said, “God has already healed you.” He looked at me with a “duh” look on his face and said, “I know.” WOW! What great faith. It did not matter what I thought… or what anyone else thought in that moment. He knew death was hovering over him. He knew the doctors expected him to be dead and gone within weeks. He knew the prognosis. He knew the natural outcome and ultimate result. BUT, he also knew that he knew that he knew that his supernatural God would go BEYOND THESE BOUNDS! And God did. Six months later, after multiple tumors and blood clots simply vanished, cancer could not be detected in his body. No trace. IMPOSSIBLE! But, not really…. at all. Roger Nallie is a full time Bible school student in ALSOM and has, through the power of Jesus Christ, overthrown the power of sickness. There was a boundary; a mark for the impossible and Christ trampled it.
