Trend Jesus

Jesus was a mighty man filled with mighty power.
With love he ruled, and love ruled him and even in his murder he refused to turn sour.

What a man, this Jesus.
Still loved even when he was mocked by people he freed from their diseases.

What a man, this Savior.
They plucked his beard, slapped his face and still love dominated his behavior.

Forgiveness pulsed in his veins and removed our stains, and it does seem strange that one day, in His presence, our sins won't be named.

This love. How amazing!
It's blazing! Not just to warn us of a fiery hell, but to compel. Remember! Each of us has a story to tell.

So what I'm asking you and I'm asking me too, what all, with love, can you and I do?

If we, as Christians, tried to do more to trend Jesus and put Him in our style,
I wonder how many people would start to think that this Jesus thing is worth the while.

If we could love and turn our cheek, make our pride kneel, act meek;
give up our selfishness for His selflessness and first, His Kingdom seek, how many would call on Jesus; not at their lowest, but at their peak.

The world, in all its ignorance, spits on all we know.
I wonder the difference that we could make if, in return, love is what we show.

What if we directed them to the red fount that never dries?
In love, point them toward the blood that never dies.

This blood is a river that knows no age and it knows no race.
This blood is unconcerned with the color displayed on the skin attached to your face.

Regardless, it will crash into you and hold you down.
This red river will rush and your sin, your filth, your shame cannot make one sound.

For when they take a breath to scream of your stains,
the rush of red washes you white until none of it remains.

This force does not take into account the strength displayed in your exterior.
Whether weak or strong, it will surround you and, in its current, pull you nearer.

It sees no sin or sickness in you.
But in its rushing might, it blindly snatches sin and sickness leaving only the new.

This blood has a furiously passionate voice that is shouting only one line.
It cries out loudly with an “I LOVE YOU” that every one person can say, “That love is mine.”

This blood is in no way subject to time.
It is past, present and future – the long and short hand cannot control it with their powers combined.

This strength makes itself unaware of every fault you hold in your heart.
Moving in a graceful force is rinses you clean in every part.

It purposely ignores the blemishes that are screaming out.
It collapses into them with such an indestructible authority that they can’t remember what they were screaming about.

There is so much that it on purpose does not know.
This purposeful lack of knowledge keeps any hindrance from the flow.

What it does know is that it is ragingly jealous for your soul.
Jealously in love, yes, and runs with one ultimate goal.

To wash you clean in a blood red shower.
Turn you white with inconceivable power.

This blood ripped free from the skin of an innocent man.
A man that chose to experience the fury of The Almighty God’s hand.

This blood dripped from His body so many years ago.
But there is a truth within it that every man should know.

This blood does not operate by our natural ways.
It does not get weary, old and faint or come close to the end of its days.

On the contrary, this raging red river, from what I have known, only gets stronger.
Its endurance, perseverance, and insistence only lasts longer.

It gets stronger and stronger with every second of every hour.
What keeps it going is you and its desire to wash you in its power.

You are the source that keeps this blood alive.
So my challenge to you today is. Dive.

Dive into the red that beckons you with force.
Dive into this blood and hold not one ounce, not one moment, not one thought of remorse.

Take everyone with you that you possibly can.
Pull them into God's love until they can no longer stand.

It worked for you. It worked for me.
Let me tell you how he set me free.

It dripped then it dropped until the ground it hit.
One thing I'm sure of is that it never stopped until the flow reached the pit.

It hit the pavement and with purpose flowed to the land of the cursed.
It sunk fast shouting, "All will be reversed!"

It landed in hell so all knew well that a new day had begun.
Blood and water was released from the royal, guiltless Son.

It seeped into the ground turning the dirt blood red
reminding Satan of what in the beginning was said.

"The heel will be bruised but the head will be crushed."
Death, guilt, and pain washed away as the red river rushed!

Time flipped and the wrath of judgement was lifted.
In all the world, Heaven and Hell shifted.

The enemy screamed as he watched the rush of blood.
His authority, his power, and his title was washing away with the flood.

A thunderous clap resounded from heaven and pierced through his wicked soul.
In that moment, He knew the Father was taking back the keys he stole.

As the blood dripped from a spotless King,
It was heard in the distance, "Death, where is your sting?"

He died, resurrected, and He lives forevermore.
His flow ceases to stop.
The forgiveness ceases to pour.

More powerful than a raging sea, this red river is powerful enough for me.

It surrounds me pleading my case.
The enemy must look through the blood when he looks at me.
Behold, God's face!

I took the blood and put it above my door.
The spirit of death came, saw, and screamed "She's covered by the Lamb! Tread here no more!"

Again I say, this love worked for you. It worked for me.
Lets tell the world that, through His love, it can be free.
