By Love, Hell Trembles.

Hell has a punch of pain to the gut of your life it will bring.
But a life of endless love will pose a question, "Death, where is your sting?"

Hell has a mission, a task to rip your hope apart.
But love without caution will make it fall like lightning, as it did at the start.

Hell has an echo of defeat that it sets loose inside your mind.
Love shuts the mouth of the lions with a roar that deafens ears and closes eyes blind.

Hell has a strike that dislocates life and marks you with a limp.
Love in action snaps it back into place. From permanent damage, you’re exempt.

Oh, how I can feel Hell quiver and shake and bend to cringe.
With all its fiery darts, my extravagant love it cannot singe!

Oh, how I can feel Hell hang its head in overwhelming cower.
Love has won and overcome and Hell has lost its power!

Oh, how I can see the regret and lament you feel for your foolish attack.
Every ounce of joy and peace you thought you took, Love has snatched it back.

Oh, how I can see you grind your teeth in rage as you examine what you thought you stole.
Look! Where you thought you had trophies for my grief, Love has left a gaping hole!

By Love, I love, I forgive and I live out my holy faith.
By Love, I have Hell trembling and cringing behind the boundaries of its gate.

By Love, I have won, struck and dislocated Hell leaving a horrific echo.
Next time you consider your assault on me, reconsider and, of your plans, let go!
