Scientific God

How can it be so that we can be so mislead?
That we can ignore the rhetorical questions the most brilliant Scientist said.

“Were you there when I laid the earth’s foundation?
Were you there when I marked off the dimensions for creation?”

“Have you ever given orders to the morning or shown the dawn its place?
Have you ever driven the night’s darkness out by the glory of your face?”

How clear a picture we can see!
God Almighty has created the heavens, the earth, the planets, the stars, and the galaxies!

He put His signature, His stamp on the earth as it “takes shape like clay under a seal”.
Remember how the people of old used to make it official when they finalized a deal?

They left their imprint, which was marked inside of clay.
Do you recall what you were made out of, how, and in what way?

We are His imprints, His signature officially approved.
He gave us the galaxies, the planets, and the stars as means to never be moved!

They were meant to help and assist us and to tell Heaven’s story.
They were meant to depict the vastness of His life, His death, His resurrection, and His eternal glory.

Does the king planet Jupiter hold a red hole in its side?
How perfect that the earth, in its entirety, in that wound fits inside.

Do we have a King with an eternal wound in his skin?
Isn’t it true that all of sinful humanity can sink into His grace and fit within?

Is the closest planet to the sun scarred with wounds that cannot be healed?
How unique that the people closest to God are the ones that have wounds that, on their own, they cannot get sealed?

These scientific wonders help give us days, years, signs, and seasons.
They were never once meant to be used in such immeasurable treasons.

How can we separate creation from Creator, science from God?
Voiding out the author’s name from his own book is a bit odd.

But, if we don’t and we know the Source
In those days of panic and chaos, when the sun turns dark and the moon blood red, we’ll rejoice!

We will know that even the galaxies, planets, and stars are making a way for His return.
We will know that even the sun and the moon must bow down when the King is discerned.

We know that they bend, break, and move under his ordinance and regulation.
We know that a story has been written in the sky that is against degradation.

Remember the first words of the book and the greatest truth you will ever see.
God created the heavens and the earth in the very beginning.

Do it.

Dad,

I remember the day we sat and spoke of the biggest of things.
That day, my dreams were birthing and bursting at the seams.

These things, on the day, did not have form or title.
I'll never forget, though, how they swirled and leapt within me as we spoke for a while.

I could tell you didn't capture all the details, but I'll never forget what you said.
"Do it."
The words still resonate like a coach talking to a player in my head.

The power of that day, at that moment, I did not fully understand.
That moment, however, is when ELEFTHERIA began.

We spoke of things beyond this world that we could not see.
We spoke of things that were not as if they would be.

I told you of the things that I believed I could do.
You smiled wide and spoke loud telling me you believed I could too.

If you, being imperfect, could love and believe in me this way,
How much more does God, in His perfection, put faith in us that does not sway or go away?

If you, being imperfect, could put so much love and hope in my dreams,
How much more does God, in His perfection, stand by our future like the coach of our team?

Oh, how you, being a mortal man, inspired me!
How much more does God, with His everlasting touch, set our hope a flame beyond boundaries we can see?

As said to me, I say to you, "Do it."
You'll say, "God, did you think I could go this far?"
He'll say, "I knew it."

Trend Jesus

Jesus was a mighty man filled with mighty power.
With love he ruled, and love ruled him and even in his murder he refused to turn sour.

What a man, this Jesus.
Still loved even when he was mocked by people he freed from their diseases.

What a man, this Savior.
They plucked his beard, slapped his face and still love dominated his behavior.

Forgiveness pulsed in his veins and removed our stains, and it does seem strange that one day, in His presence, our sins won't be named.

This love. How amazing!
It's blazing! Not just to warn us of a fiery hell, but to compel. Remember! Each of us has a story to tell.

So what I'm asking you and I'm asking me too, what all, with love, can you and I do?

If we, as Christians, tried to do more to trend Jesus and put Him in our style,
I wonder how many people would start to think that this Jesus thing is worth the while.

If we could love and turn our cheek, make our pride kneel, act meek;
give up our selfishness for His selflessness and first, His Kingdom seek, how many would call on Jesus; not at their lowest, but at their peak.

The world, in all its ignorance, spits on all we know.
I wonder the difference that we could make if, in return, love is what we show.

What if we directed them to the red fount that never dries?
In love, point them toward the blood that never dies.

This blood is a river that knows no age and it knows no race.
This blood is unconcerned with the color displayed on the skin attached to your face.

Regardless, it will crash into you and hold you down.
This red river will rush and your sin, your filth, your shame cannot make one sound.

For when they take a breath to scream of your stains,
the rush of red washes you white until none of it remains.

This force does not take into account the strength displayed in your exterior.
Whether weak or strong, it will surround you and, in its current, pull you nearer.

It sees no sin or sickness in you.
But in its rushing might, it blindly snatches sin and sickness leaving only the new.

This blood has a furiously passionate voice that is shouting only one line.
It cries out loudly with an “I LOVE YOU” that every one person can say, “That love is mine.”

This blood is in no way subject to time.
It is past, present and future – the long and short hand cannot control it with their powers combined.

This strength makes itself unaware of every fault you hold in your heart.
Moving in a graceful force is rinses you clean in every part.

It purposely ignores the blemishes that are screaming out.
It collapses into them with such an indestructible authority that they can’t remember what they were screaming about.

There is so much that it on purpose does not know.
This purposeful lack of knowledge keeps any hindrance from the flow.

What it does know is that it is ragingly jealous for your soul.
Jealously in love, yes, and runs with one ultimate goal.

To wash you clean in a blood red shower.
Turn you white with inconceivable power.

This blood ripped free from the skin of an innocent man.
A man that chose to experience the fury of The Almighty God’s hand.

This blood dripped from His body so many years ago.
But there is a truth within it that every man should know.

This blood does not operate by our natural ways.
It does not get weary, old and faint or come close to the end of its days.

On the contrary, this raging red river, from what I have known, only gets stronger.
Its endurance, perseverance, and insistence only lasts longer.

It gets stronger and stronger with every second of every hour.
What keeps it going is you and its desire to wash you in its power.

You are the source that keeps this blood alive.
So my challenge to you today is. Dive.

Dive into the red that beckons you with force.
Dive into this blood and hold not one ounce, not one moment, not one thought of remorse.

Take everyone with you that you possibly can.
Pull them into God's love until they can no longer stand.

It worked for you. It worked for me.
Let me tell you how he set me free.

It dripped then it dropped until the ground it hit.
One thing I'm sure of is that it never stopped until the flow reached the pit.

It hit the pavement and with purpose flowed to the land of the cursed.
It sunk fast shouting, "All will be reversed!"

It landed in hell so all knew well that a new day had begun.
Blood and water was released from the royal, guiltless Son.

It seeped into the ground turning the dirt blood red
reminding Satan of what in the beginning was said.

"The heel will be bruised but the head will be crushed."
Death, guilt, and pain washed away as the red river rushed!

Time flipped and the wrath of judgement was lifted.
In all the world, Heaven and Hell shifted.

The enemy screamed as he watched the rush of blood.
His authority, his power, and his title was washing away with the flood.

A thunderous clap resounded from heaven and pierced through his wicked soul.
In that moment, He knew the Father was taking back the keys he stole.

As the blood dripped from a spotless King,
It was heard in the distance, "Death, where is your sting?"

He died, resurrected, and He lives forevermore.
His flow ceases to stop.
The forgiveness ceases to pour.

More powerful than a raging sea, this red river is powerful enough for me.

It surrounds me pleading my case.
The enemy must look through the blood when he looks at me.
Behold, God's face!

I took the blood and put it above my door.
The spirit of death came, saw, and screamed "She's covered by the Lamb! Tread here no more!"

Again I say, this love worked for you. It worked for me.
Lets tell the world that, through His love, it can be free.

Moments

There are moments when Heaven cannot be denied.
Moments when it refuses to be silent and rejects the option to hide.

In those moments, my heart is overwhelmed with hope.
I see those in the world to come holding for us an immeasurable, unbreakable rope.

As I hold on to it with all of my power, I discover they're holding on too, ever pulling me up. And also pulling you.

Soon We'll See

Imagine with me all that we'll see when we find ourselves in the glory of eternity.

Imagine your feet positioned on streets paved in gold as your eyes discover answers to mysteries untold.

Imagine the colors you've never once seen that will shine through the kingdom with a radiant beam.

Imagine the sound that will rise from the crowd as reunions take place and love shouts loud.

Imagine the cry mixed with uncontrollable laughter as we see the result of faith and what comes after.

Imagine feeling no burden, no pain, and no weight the instant you find yourself within the gate.

Imagine with me the peace that will be when we're breathing the air of Heaven; the presence of the King.

Imagine the culture of honor and order we will come to know as we reap the ultimate reward of what we have sown.

Imagine hearing the sounds of that unmatchable choir and realizing there's no longer a trace of the deceiving liar.

Imagine those that have gone on before wrapping their arms around us once more.

Imagine tasting the fruit of the tree of life and experiencing the reality of no more strife.

Imagine a Kingdom busy in the strongest power and gentlest love that is all carried out through the Father, the Lamb, and the Dove.

Imagine your purpose becoming more defined as you discover the real purpose of why you were designed.

Imagine with me your new body in glory and power that the enemy can no longer touch or devour.

Imagine realizing that the end is not the end at all but simply the beginning of your God given call.

Above all, imagine with me the feeling you'll have when you see Him; the one who purposefully forgot your sin.

Imagine the King's eyes that burn not in wrath or hate but rather with a love unable to discriminate.

Imagine standing before Him forgiven and accepted knowing no longer the feeling of being rejected.

Imagine love. Imagine hope. Imagine glory. For the day will come when this is our story.

We will no longer imagine but we will see what we have believed. On that day, unspeakable joy will run free.

Imagine now. Believe now. Hope now. Have faith now. Soon we'll see the reality to be.

Heaven is our home.

May I - 2012

Thankful, Lord. Let this me be.
May I never be blinded to all of the Heaven you have designed in me.

May I never forget that as the Creator of all things, you still know my name.
May I always be gracious because in all of my wrong doings, I am somehow without blame.

Help me, Lord, remember your relentless blood.
How it washed away my stains like only the strongest of loves could.

May I never forget that the King is my father.
Help me, Lord, act in a way where they'll say, "Now, that's the King's daughter."

May I never be a fool that is ignorant of your power.
May I always remember how you wiped out cancer from Roger's body when it looked like death was the man of the hour.

May I be ever grateful for your unfailing, unconditional, irrevocable love.
May my hand be placed on the chest of greed and hate and give it a mighty shove.

May I remember that this very love saved my brother's soul.
What once was empty and a dark pit is now filled up and made whole.

May I always be overwhelmed with joy when I am surrounded by my family.
Let them be like a treasure in my heart that is constantly glowing inside me.

May I always give you glory when I think of my dad's new home.
How he gets to stand in front of the Majesty of existence at His throne.

Thankful, Lord. Let this me be.
When I think on that heavenly reunion drenched in beauty.

May I never lose my desire to make my parents proud.
Even when I'm ninety, help me remember they are witnesses in that cloud.

May I always be aware of the friends you have given to me.
Help me serve them, love them, bless them, and challenge them as far as their eyes can see.

May I never be ungrateful or full of a false pride.
Help me be thankful. Ever thankful that You, oh lord, are forever by my side.

And if I ever begin to stink by the stench of selfishness that causes your people to hurt.
Remind me. Remind me, Lord, how you formed me from the dirt!

May I never lose my zeal to love You.
Remind me always that there is none above You.

I look up and these words I wish to say to the Creator of Heaven, "Thank You with all my heart."
May I never forget where my salvation journey had its start.

More than anything, God, I want you to know that I love you.
I do, Lord. Above all else, I do.

BEYOND THESE BOUNDS - sin

Sin can rule over people and have power it does not deserve. It can lead people into dark places they never wished to be in. It can convince people that there is no light and there is no love. Sin can wrap itself around a person’s heart so tight that it steals every ounce of joy they could have in them. Sin can take you so far that it will convince you and the people around you that it is impossible for you to come back. This is what sin did to my brother. Sin, however, is subject to the power of God and His ability to rip the impossible to shreds! When it seemed most impossible for my brother to come to God after years of sin, he came running to the altar of the Lord. He jumped into the river of life. He took a big gulp of the Holy Spirit. He surrounded himself with the goodness of God, and threw his heart back to the One who made sin look like a punk under His power. He has been washed in the blood and stands sinless and spotless before our God. Favor has attacked him, pinned him down, and left him speechless. His past is gone. His present is secure! His future is way BEYOND THESE BOUNDS! This is impossible! Naw, not really…at all.

Never give up. Never lose hope. God is faithful. My brother is now enrolled in Bible school and about to tear this world up for Jesus Christ. I LOVE MY BRO!

Matthew 19:26 (NKJV) But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
