BEYOND THESE BOUNDS - cancer

As my friend lay in that hospital bed colorless and cold with approaching death, my head asked my heart, ‘Is it possible that he can live?’ My heart delayed the answer as it studied the truth of stage four lung cancer. I shook my head as reality set in. Death was coming. Quickly. But as my doubt overwhelmed me, like a shockwave that brings a dead heart back to life, God’s heart began to beat within mine. My heart and my mind were made up. We would see a miracle in his life. I walked to his bedside and said, “God has already healed you.” He looked at me with a “duh” look on his face and said, “I know.” WOW! What great faith. It did not matter what I thought… or what anyone else thought in that moment. He knew death was hovering over him. He knew the doctors expected him to be dead and gone within weeks. He knew the prognosis. He knew the natural outcome and ultimate result. BUT, he also knew that he knew that he knew that his supernatural God would go BEYOND THESE BOUNDS! And God did. Six months later, after multiple tumors and blood clots simply vanished, cancer could not be detected in his body. No trace. IMPOSSIBLE! But, not really…. at all.
