In the beginning, Jesus.

In the beginning God created and then later Paul stated that Jesus
was there.
All things were made through Him and to Him their praises they declare.
God speaks and the valleys and peaks listen as He says aloud, "Let us make man look like us."
Then Jesus, you'll walk with them and talk with them. Many things you'll discuss.
How in the beginning can we see the end?
Written in Abel's blood was the story of the Son God would send.
As Abraham trudged up the hill to obediently kill his son,
We see the plan that would withstand to break God's heart as the story of redemption had begun.
And then Melchizedek represented The High Priest, that after His resurrection would encompass us with peace.
His life told of a story to come that Paul would one day preach hoping to save some.
The Old Testament tells us of priests that never ceased to offer blood to remove the wrong.
What a joy to know this was just a shadow of The Priest who would not cease until our sins were gone!
"The heel will be bruised but the head will be crushed."
Death, guilt, and pain would wash away when that red river rushed!
It is true that we find the end where the story had its start.
Jesus is in Genesis, from day one, pursuing desperately after your heart.
