2012. Do.

2012.
I will be on point like a pen and of course ready to write the vision (Habakkuk 2:2).
I will be ever so ready for my knees to hit the floor when I embark toward a decision (Mark 1:35).
My feet are strong, ready to walk and run with the Gospel of peace (Romans 10:15).
My hands are ready to lift my heart (psalm 119:48) and my praise to a rock I won't lease (Luke 19:40).
My heart will be set a flame when I consider the words within that Holy book.
May my searches, my hungers, my questions, and my directions; there, never cease to look (Psalm 119:11).
I intend this year to be as bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1).
To find those weak in heart, lost in soul, and show them the One who can end their sighing (John 3:16).
I am not perfect, but I will aim toward Perfection (Romans 3:23).
Lord, as hard as it is, put my heart under deep inspection (Psalm 139:23).
This year I will please you, unconcerned with the opinion of man (Ephesians 6:7).
Help me, oh God, through every ungodly situation, to stand (Psalm 40:2).
2012, it is the year for the Kingdom minded (Colossians 3:1).
2012, our opposing enemies will be blinded (Psalm 110:1).
This year you cannot stop me from dreaming until my breath is taken away.
I’m going to dream and dream and dream and dream regardless of what the nay sayers say and say (Ephesians 3:20).
More important than the dreams, I am going to DO (James 2:26).
I will do all I can the best I can, Lord, to serve you (Colossians 3:23).
Let it be known: MY FAITH IS NOT DEAD!
I aim to follow through with every word I have said.
Let be known: MY FAITH IS ALIVE!
We will see the power of God’s Kingdom here on earth and watch it thrive.
2012. This is the year for you.
2012. This is the year you, more than you will talk, speculate, or intend, you will do.

Unto Us A Child Was Born

He was prophesied about and then he came.
His whole story, every detail, was to change the world. It'll never be the same.
He was talked about in ancient texts and then he arrived and the angels did sing.
This little baby made hell scared knowing salvation He'd bring.
Satan plotted, conspired, and planned.
He got the cross ready. He had the gates of hell manned.
This baby grew and through a sinless life earned the title, "Spotless lamb."
The devil hated who he grew to be and deceived many to believe he was nothing more than a scam.
How wrong they were! Wrong indeed!
It is fact. The baby, this spotless lamb was the King of kings.
As a baby, he cried pure tears and as a 33 year old man, hanging on the cross, he did the same.
Submitting Himself to death so our souls He could reclaim.
Hell shook and Heaven rejoiced as Jesus took the keys.
From now on, eternally, we say that name, and all of hell flees.
A baby no more, but rather a resurrected king.
A man on a cross no more, but rather our eternal master, who still today, salvation He brings.
He was born, he lived, he died and he lives again and He has saved us.
So, I'll say this and hope you understand it in its full meaning, Merry Christmas.

No More Funerals For My Faith

The enemy will laugh each time the world gets dressed in black
As they have come together to mourn the works my faith did lack.
The vile one with all of his men will celebrate with mean smirks.
As each day a casket is lowered that reads, "Faith Without Works."
If faith without works is dead, and it is, then faith with works is ALIVE.
To set an end to these funerals for my faith, I believe that I must dive.
Dive, without regret, into action, stripping myself of excuses.
Coming into a full understanding that when I don’t act, the Kingdom of Heaven loses.
We must be the ones that snatch from hell, mend the broken, and feed the poor.
We must, in all of its literal meaning, extend our hands to touch lives, and do nothing but more.
We must tell our selfishness to rest in peace as we watch it die.
There is a true soul problem if it is too close a friend to say goodbye.
We must be like the Kingdom that which we wish to see on earth.
We must take this life we have been given and give it Kingdom worth!
There is no other way to do this except to become a servant.
Have eyes like Christ – be ever so observant.
And when you see the need of hurting people, just do.
Do all you can the best you can and watch God show up too!
Faith with works can change the world. This I do believe.
This is the goal we, as the body of Christ, must aim to achieve.

Works,
Come alive!
Take the depths of my soul and make it thrive.
Make my bones move and make my hands reach.
Let my words heal and let my words teach.
Make these knees bow and make these hands write.
Make this body WORK with all of its might.
